Evaluation Process of Bilateral Project Proposals
- Call for proposals for bilateral projects.
On-line submission of the Czech parts of proposals to the GACR (deadline is specified in Call for proposals).
Evaluation period starts immediately after the deadline. Only applications which meet all administrative and formal requirements are included into evaluation process.
Within the Panel evaluation (first stage of evaluation) all proposals are assessed on the basis of two objective reviews written by Panel members.
During a Panel meeting every proposal is negotiated. A ranking list of proposals is the outcome of discussion.
The Discipline Committees (second stage of evaluation) are discussed the ranking lists made by Panels and drawn up a final ranking of proposals recommended for funding and a list of proposals not recommended for finance support.
The Presidium makes preliminary decision on awarding grant to the Czech part of proposals and informs partner funding organization.
The GACR Presidium decides on awarding grants based on result of evaluation process from partner funding organization. Grant can be awarded only after final approval from both research funding organizations (GACR and partner organization).
The GACR Office informs every applicant about awarding or not awarding grant.
