EuroHORCs Committee Meeting
Prague, 14th October, 2006
The Plenary Meeting of EuroHORCs (European Heads Of Research Councils) took place on 14th October 2006 in a small assembly hall in Carolinum. Twenty six main representatives of member EuroHORCs organization, which are science foundations and also research institutions as Max-Planck-Gesselschaft or CNRS, participated at the meeting. This meeting dealt with EURYI Awards future, cooperation with the European Research Council, questions connected with intellectual property, connection of database of participating organizations to enable improvement of peer review, future of European technological institute and other problems. The Swedish Research Council director Prof. Pär Omling has been elected new EuroHORCs President for 2007-2008.
